DC Strings Workshop is a s a dynamic and versatile chamber orchestra composed of musicians committed to bringing free, high-level concerts of classical, jazz, and gospel music to diverse audiences in the District of Columbia region. Classical music is not for elites or the privileged but should be accessible and enjoyed by all. As a non-profit organizanitation, DC Strings Workshop was founded on the belief that excellence in music is an essential human right. 

Astistic Director Andrew Lee founded DC Strings in October 2016 and since their founds DC Strings workshop has provided a variety of concerts and experinces throughout the D.C. metropolitan area.

DC Strings Workshop is dedicated to bringing fun, high-level classical music concerts to communities throughout the District of Columbia region. A non-profit organization composed of young amateur, semi-professional, and professional musicians under the leadership of founding artistic director Andrew Lee, DCSW seeks to reach a wide spectrum of audiences with performances that engage the communities in which they occur.
